Terms for using Lumi FM

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Lumi FM, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Lumi FM is

Lumi FM is a companion-first audio streaming product. It lets listeners shape a station using mood, scene, topic, and DJ personality inputs, then delivers a continuous feed of music and short DJ moments.

The service is still evolving. Account features, listening tools, subscriptions, and other product surfaces may change over time, and we may add, remove, pause, or revise features at any time.

3. Eligibility and intended audience

Lumi FM is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

4. Acceptable use

• Use Lumi FM only in lawful ways.
• Do not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to degrade the service.
• Do not scrape, crawl, or automate access in a way that creates abuse, load, or security risk.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or anti-bot protections, including Turnstile.
• Do not use the service to generate or distribute unlawful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive material.

5. AI-generated and automated outputs

Parts of Lumi FM may rely on automated systems, including AI-generated or AI-assisted music prompts, DJ copy, voice synthesis, playback scheduling, and personalization logic. These outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, repetitive, unavailable, or unsuitable for every context.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use the output. Lumi FM is offered for entertainment and product experience purposes. It is not a substitute for professional advice, emergency services, or regulated services.

6. Intellectual property and service materials

The Lumi FM brand, website design, interface elements, copy, graphics, code, and service materials are owned by Lumi FM or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the service for personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable access. You may not reproduce, resell, publicly redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative commercial uses of the service except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

7. Third-party services

Lumi FM may use third-party services to operate certain features, including anti-abuse tools, cloud storage, AI text systems, AI voice systems, and music-generation providers. Your use of those embedded components may also be subject to the policies or terms of those providers.

For example, the signup page currently uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent abuse. Those interactions are also subject to Cloudflare's terms and privacy practices.

8. Availability, interruptions, and beta limitations

We aim to keep the listening experience smooth, but Lumi FM is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, permanent access, or that any feature will remain live in its current form.

The service may change during development, including updates to station logic, playback behavior, provider integrations, or legal pages. We may suspend or terminate access if needed for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, legal compliance, or product changes.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumi FM disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, use, content, or business opportunity arising from or related to the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of Lumi FM after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms.
