Lumi FM is an AI DJ radio experience that builds a personalized companion station for focus, calm, mornings, late nights, and mood-based listening.

Lumi FM is not designed to feel like a traditional music player. It is built as a companion-first audio feed: a stream where music and short DJ moments arrive together, so the listener feels accompanied rather than managed.

The listener chooses the DJ personality, the listening scene, the conversation topic, and how talkative the station should be. From there, Lumi shapes a session that feels more like entering a room than operating a tool.

Some listening products are great at control, discovery, and catalog depth. Lumi FM is aimed at a different feeling: the moment when a person does not only want songs, but also a little presence around the songs.

The product language, playback flow, and DJ pacing are built to reduce the sense of using a tool and increase the sense of being kept company.

Mood-led by design

Scenes such as Morning, Afternoon, Work, Driving, and Dancing let the listener start from a clear emotional context, then rename that scene to match the moment instead of starting from a blank audio surface.

Continuous listening first

The queue is designed so the stream keeps moving. Music failure falls back to the music pool. DJ failure is skipped. The feeling of flow stays protected.

How It Works

The Lumi FM session flow in one pass

The MVP is intentionally narrow. It focuses on one job: getting a listener from selection to a smooth, personalized stream as quickly as possible.

Choose the station shape

The listener selects personality, scene, topic, and talk level. Those four signals define the emotional posture of the session, while the visible scene name can still be customized for that specific session.

Start a session

Lumi creates a session, builds the opening queue, and lets the AI DJ greet the listener before the music settles in.

Stream music and DJ moments together

Playback follows a feed rhythm rather than a playlist UI. Music leads most of the experience, while the DJ appears between songs with short companion-style voice moments.

Protect continuity

If music retrieval fails, the system explicitly falls back to the local music pool. If DJ generation fails, the stream skips that DJ moment and continues.
